Wheel of the Year!
Celtic Art Project made in Digital Illustration with old texture effects, represents the most important symbols of the celtic festivals.
The Celtic Wheel of the Year is a seasonal calendar that describes the twelve months of the year, marked by eight significant festivals, often rooted in ancient Celtic traditions and pagan practices. These festivals celebrate the changing seasons and the cycles of nature, reflecting the agricultural calendar and the relationship between humans and the Earth. The Wheel is often depicted as a circular diagram, representing the cyclical nature of time and life.
The following illustrations represent each of the festivals separately.
