Despite the fact that the date of the equinox is not marked in any of the Celtic traditions, there is evidence that at an intermediate point between Lughnasadh and Samhain, the populations celebrated a ritual since ancient times that invokes Lughnasadh and concludes the activities of the cereal harvest.
